Junior Camps (Ages 4 to 7)

Our Junior Camps are designed to teach campers to be curious and creative, to collaborate with each other and to build interpersonal skills.

Registration is now open!

Our low staff-to-camp ratios and play-based curriculum provide a safe environment for campers to learn, have fun and make new friends while developing the first stages of independence. Junior camps take place in our Lower School building, in facilities and classrooms specifically designed for this age group. All camps include outdoor time, Fun Friday team activities and time at our incredible outdoor playgrounds! 


Junior Camp Offerings

Our Junior Artist camp is designed for campers to explore their creativity using various visual art materials that will develop fine motor skills and stimulate their artistic expression. Materials and techniques used will aim to include drawing, painting, collage and Paper-Mache sculpting, clay, and much more! Visual Arts encourage children to be curious and think creatively, developing skills and confidence as they go.

Get on your bikes and ride! Our Junior Learn to Bike Camps is exactly as it sounds, teaching campers independence and resilience, and they learn to navigate life on two wheels. This challenging and exciting camp is offered for one week only. Campers are asked to bring their own helmets, but bikes are provided by the school.

Fee: $499

In our Multi P.L.A.Y. (Physical Literacy Activity for Youth) programme, prepare for a fun-filled week engaging in various sports, group games and exciting activity opportunities appropriate to each age group. In Multi P.L.A.Y., we will focus on movement competence, movement skills and the motivation to stay active. Participants will value the ability and gain confidence to transition to different activities and recreation sports, inclusive of play tools and play assessments. Our campers will take part in a variety of sports and more! In addition, campers participate in daily ice-skating sessions, Tuesday through Friday.  

*Registrants are required to bring their own ice skates and helmets to participate in group skating. Be prepared to get physical!

Our Junior Outdoor Explorers camp aims to entice our campers with an appreciation for both art and nature as we expose them to Ridley’s beautiful 90-acre wonder. Campers will observe the diverse beauty of our campus through a variety of fun outdoor nature-themed activities and adventures. Scavenger hunts, crafts and outdoor group games are just a few examples of how their days will be filled! While indoors, campers will have the opportunity to draw connections from their observations in the natural world, creating a variety of mixed-media projects.

Lights, Camera, Action! Our Junior Performing Arts camp is designed for campers to develop self-confidence, creativity and communication skills. This camp combines instruction in dance and movement, acting skills and vocal performance. Campers will participate in a range of fun theatre games and other developmental activities leading up to an end-of-the-week showcase performance that features the newly acquired skills. This performance will be recorded and sent to all parents.

Our Junior Science camp is designed for curious campers with an inquisitive mindset and a love to ask questions to better understand the world around them. Campers will begin to discover the scientific process through play-based activities and experiments that instill a love of learning.

This action-packed camp invites campers to join a team of masked superheroes and save the day. This is the perfect camp for campers who love to be part of a team. Each day, campers will discover their unique "superpowers" through creative activities, games, and storytelling. They'll design their own capes and masks, train in obstacle courses, and participate in superhero-themed crafts and problem-solving challenges. Through fun missions and role-playing, campers will explore kindness, bravery, and helping others. By the end of the week, each child will graduate as an official superhero!
