Lower School House Teams

Our four House Teams are a tribute to our uniquely Canadian heritage and geography.

When they first arrive at Ridley, every Lower School student is placed in a House Team that becomes their community until they transition to Upper School. 

Students earn individual points for their House and Houses compete in spirited challenges and games throughout the year. They vie for points, and at the end of the year the winning House Team is awarded the coveted Gooderham Trophy.

Our House system provides students with opportunities to gather as part of a Kindergarten to Grade 8 group and participate in enriching activities. These range from healthy competitions to focused sessions designed to promote acceptance of diversity, increased empathy and integrity.
